개발자 알렉산더 그라프는 ARM 기반 프로세서 제품에서 가상 머신이 직접 작동할 수 있게 패치한 바 있습니다. 이로 인해 애플 M1 맥북에서 가상화로 윈도10을 실행할 수 있었습니다.

그라프는 오픈 소스 QEMU에 대한 패치를 자유롭게 사용할 수 있도록 허용했고. 다른 사람에 의해 이 솔루션의 성능을 객관적으로 평가할 수 있는 벤치마크 점수가 나타났습니다.

애플 M1을 탑재한 맥북에서 맥OS 기반 긱벤치5의 네이티브 성능은 싱글코어 1737점, 멀티코어 7549점 입니다.

애플 M1기반 가상 시스템에서 실행되는 ARM 윈도10의 경우 싱글코어 1288점, 멀티코어 5449점 입니다.

이는 마이크로소프트 SQ2 프로세서로 작동되는 MS의 서피스 프로X ARM 윈도10 제품의 싱글코어 799점, 멀티코어 3089점 보다 높습니다.
