In just 18 months, the smartphone industry has gone from being dominated by traditional 16:9 displays to being flooded by modern 19:9 panels complete with notches. Despite the increasing popularity of these panels, however, Samsung has avoided the notched designs entirely by making use of its popular Infinity Display panels. Currently, these utilize a unique 18.5:9 aspect ratio but if a new benchmark listing is anything to go by, they could soon be stretched even further.
