삼성전자가 내년 2분기 D램 수요 확대의 핵심으로 지목한 중앙처리장치(CPU)가 공개됐다.5일(현지시간) 인텔은 서버용 CPU ‘캐스케이드 레이크 어드밴스드 퍼포먼스(캐스케이드 레이크)’와 ‘제온 E-2100’ CPU를 각각 발표했다. 캐스케이드 레이크는 고성능컴퓨터(HPC), 인공지능(AI) 등 데이터센터에 알맞다. 제온 E-2100은 클라우드 서비스를 위한 보급형 서버에 적합하게 설계됐다.캐스케이드 레이크는 멀티칩 패키지(MCP)를 통해 최대 48코어, 12채널 DDR4 메모리를 지원한다. 서버 한 대당 두 개의 CPU를 장착할
