소식 LGD, 애플에 미니 LED 패널 공급…아이패드 프로용

22일 업계에 따르면 LG디스플레이는 애플이 하반기 선보일 12.9인치 미니 LED 아이패드 프로용 패널을 생산한다. 이번 아이패드 프로는 5세대 제품이다. 지난 3월 공개된 4세대 제품은 3D ToF(Time of Flight) 모듈 적용 등 소폭 업그레이드에 그친 바 있다.

미니LED는 사실상 기존 LED 백라이트 LCD에서 LED 크기만 줄인 패널입니다. 약간의 개선이라는 뜻이죠.
