세계 최대 스마트폰용 애플리케이션프로세서(AP) 업체 미국 퀄컴이 세계 1위 이미지센서 업체 소니와 카메라 기술을 공동 연구한다. 퀄컴 본사가 있는 미국 샌디에이고에 공동 연구소를 설립할 예정이다. 쥬드 히프 퀄컴 부사장 겸 영상&컴퓨터 비전 제품 총괄은 11월 30일(현지시간) 미국 하와이 빅아일랜드 페어몬트오키드 리조트에서 열린 '스냅드래곤 테크 서밋 2021' 행사에서 이 같은 계획을 밝혔다. 히프 부사장은 "소니는 스마트폰용 이미지센서 업계에서 가장 큰 제조사"라면서 "이미지센서 설계 관련 통찰력을 얻어 스냅드
