소식 구글, 조직 개편 발표…"안드로이드·크롬·하드웨어 사업부 통합"

구글이 운영 효율화를 위해 주요 조직 개편안을 발표했다고 18일(현지시간) IT매체 아스테크니카가 전했다. 이번 개편의 가장 큰 변화는 구글이 안드로이드, 크롬, 구글 하드웨어 사업부를 통합한다는 것이다. 이들은 '플랫폼 및 기기'(Platforms and Devices)부서로 통합, 릭 오스테로 구글 하드웨어 수석 부사장이 팀을 이끌 전망이다. 기존에 안드로이드 및 크롬OS 부문 책임자였던 히로시 록하이머는 구글에서 새로운 프로젝트를 맡게 된다.
