Apple's 2018 iPhone lineup receives EEC certification ahead of September launch

Back in April, Apple registered a total of 11 new iPhone models with the Eurasian Economic Commission and, at the time, these all run iOS 11. Yesterday, however, Apple chose to update its filings and it was revealed that all the certified models now run iOS 12.

When the initial filing occurred, it was presumed that the model numbers were related to the rumored iPhone SE 2 – a release was largely expected to take place in May – but, since then, reports have revealed that the smartphone may actually never arrive.
