Along with the Galaxy A6/A6+ (2018), the Galaxy A8/A8+ (2018) are the latest mid-range smartphones launched by Samsung. However, while the former models come with Android 8.0 Oreo on board, the latter run Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

Even though they've been released on the market just a few months from each other, the Galaxy A8/A8+ (2018) still ship with Android Nougat. The good news is these two mid-range smartphones will not remain stuck on Nougat for too long now.
