소식 삼성전기, AMD 반도체기판 전용라인 구축한다...1.1조원 투자

삼성전기가 미국 AMD의 반도체 기판 전용라인을 구축한다. 투자규모는 1조1000억원이다. 삼성전기는 미국 인텔에 이어 AMD를 고부가 반도체 기판 고객사로 확보하며 새 성장동력을 찾았다.

1일 업계에 따르면 삼성전기와 AMD는 지난달 중순 반도체 패키지용 플립칩(FC)-볼그리드어레이(BGA) 기판 생산라인에 1조1000억원을 투자하기로 합의한 것으로 파악됐다. AMD도 일부 투자하는 합작라인으로 알려졌다.
