Huawei Mate 20 Pro front panel leak reveals cut-outs for Face ID-like tech

A few days back, the front panels of both the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro appeared online revealing drastically different design approaches – the regular Mate 20 will adopt a waterdrop notch along with a flat display while the Pro model will use a much wider alternative coupled with a curved edge panel.

The reason for the larger notch on the Mate 20 Pro is reportedly so that it can accommodate a new Face ID-rivalling 3D facial recognition technology. However, due to the angle and lighting conditions of the previous photo, not all cut-outs were visible. But today, thanks to a much clearer ...
