Xiaomi partners up with IKEA to expand smart home platform

Chinese tech giant Xiaomi and IKEA have partnered up in a bid to expand the reach of their respective Internet of Things (IoT) platforms. Starting in December, IKEA smart home products will integrate with the Mi Home app and the Xiao AI assistant, Xiaomi announced on Twitter.

Xiaomi may be most popular in the West for its smartphones, but the company has a huge portfolio of all sorts of products on offer.
