Samsung has quite the portfolio of smartphone lines, spanning different price ranges. There's the flagship Galaxy S and Note series, the mid-range A series, and the budget J, C, and On lineups. This may soon change, however, with the introduction of the Samsung Galaxy M20, which could serve as the company's sole budget offering starting in 2019.

Galaxy J, C, and On phones are primarily aimed at budget and emerging smartphone markets — mainly Asia — and the differences between them haven't been as significant, as to justify three separate lineups. That seems to be Samsung's line of thinking ...
