Motorola Moto Z3 Play with side-mounted fingerprint reader

When Samsung first introduced fingerprint scanners to its smartphones, the company chose to integrate them into its famous home button. Then, following the switch over to the newer Infinity Displays last year, which ultimately resulted in the removal of the home button, the brand moved the fingerprint readers over to the rear.

But now, if one reliable tipster is indeed correct, Samsung may be preparing to follow in the footsteps of Sony and Motorola by releasing a smartphone ...
