소식 대만 글로벌웨이퍼스, 한국 천안 공장 300mm웨이퍼 월12만장 증설·내후년 양산

대만 웨이퍼업체 글로벌웨이퍼스(GlobalWafers)의 국내 계열사 MEMC코리아가 충남 천안 제2공장에 300mm웨이퍼 월 12만장 생산능력의 라인을 증설, 내년 3분기 샘플 테스트 후 2020년 양산할 계획이다. 양산후 5년간 생산분은 올해 4분기 공급가보다 비싼 평균판매가격(ASP)으로 장기협정(LTA:Long Term Agreement)을 맺은 고객사들에게 전량 납품하기로 약정했다.글로벌웨이퍼스 쉬시우란(徐秀蘭) 회장은 지난 8일 인터넷에 공개된 대만 경제주간지 <천하(天下)>와의 인터뷰에서 "고객사에서 돈을 줄테니 공장을
